Many international sales contracts between parties from China and Venezuela were involved. At the discharging ports the consignees took delivery of the cargoes when the original bills of lading were still in circulation among banks, thus the cargo prices were not paid. The parties concerned initiated legal proceedings respectively in the UK, Hong Kong and Mainland China. The total amount in dispute was about USD20 million. We communicated and cooperated with law firms in the UK and Hong Kong to render full assistance for both the oversea and domestic court proceedings, including the anti-suit injunction, enforcement of the arbitration agreement as well as the bankruptcy proceedings.
