Children's Day – “Today, I am a legal assistant!”
Children probably have many questions about their parents' occupation. Since today is a special day, Wang Jing & GH invited all children to come to the law firm as little “legal assistants” to spend a meaningful Children's Day with their parents.
The kids followed their parents, playing happily and getting to know each other in our meeting room, decorated for the event. After all the kids arrived, a cute little bear took them to visit their parents' workplace and greet their parents’ colleagues, starting a happy day!
Then, the little bear brought the kids back to the meeting room, and the Children's Day activities officially began!
The teacher divided the kids into two groups according to their age, and played charades together. All children enthusiastically raised their hands to take part in the game; the children who did not play were giving tips and the atmosphere was very lively.
At the end of the game, the children united and wrote an idiom for their parents to guess, but the adults deemed it "too difficult".
After the game, Lawyer Lu showed the children a cartoon about school bullying. The children who were playing gradually became quiet.
In recent years, more and more news about school bullying has become a burning issue, drawing widespread attention from the society. We are beginning to realize that school bullying is not far away from our kids, and therefore schools and parents should guide children to say "no" to bullies.
Lawyer Lu combined the cartoon with questions and answers to let the children learn how to refuse school bullying, and what to do when they encounter it.
Let's get back to a light-hearted atmosphere. The "who's undercover" game starts!
The children were eager to join in and once again they were in a huddle. Don't be misled by their small size: they can be very serious when playing games, especially when trying to catch the undercover together.
Since we are in our law firm, how can we miss our moot court experience? We walked briskly to the moot court together. Lawyer Wang was invited as a guest judge to explain the children the work of the judge and the entire process of the court hearing, and all the kids want to try to be a little judge.
In order to make this an unforgettable day, we asked the children to act as the "judge" to solve the case. Lawyer Wang described the case, and the little judges were sometimes right, and sometimes wrong.
The event is coming to an end, and our little bear is back!
Our bear took the kids to the cake to take a group picture and gave each kid a small gift. Parents also took pictures with their kids and the little bear.
