On the afternoon of December 26, 2023, Guangzhou Lawyers Industry High-Quality Development and High-Level Open Conference, hosted by CPC Guangzhou Lawyers Industry Committee and Guangzhou Lawyers Association, was held at Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center under the guidance of Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Justice.
Chuming Lin, member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Department of Justice, Guangdong; Taiping Sun, member of the Standing Committee of the Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee of the Municipal Party Committee; Rui Zhang, Deputy Mayor of Guangzhou; Zhongwen Deng, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director, and First Inspector of the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Justice, along with other leaders attended the conference. Also present were leaders from the Municipal Party Committee, Municipal People's Congress, Municipal Political Consultative Conference, and from district government departments.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Guangzhou's deepening of the reform of lawyer system and to demonstrate the development and fruitful achievements of Guangzhou lawyer industry over the past 30 years, CPC Guangzhou Lawyers Industry Committee and Guangzhou Lawyers Association initiated a "30 Practitioners from 30 Firms in 30 Years" campaign to showcase Guangzhou lawyers’ vibrant practices and great contribution to the country’s rule of law, and inspire the enthusiasm of lawyers to work and innovate. The results of the campaign were announced during the conference.
