Mr. Wang Jing, Director of the Eighth and Ninth Maritime Law Committee of All China Lawyers Association and former Director, Managing Partner, as well as founding partner of Wang Jing & Co. Law Firm, is now Honorary Chairman of Board of Directors and Senior Partner of Wang Jing & GH Law Firm. Mr. Wang Jing has practiced law for more than 30 years, and founded and managed Wang Jing & Co. for more than 25 years. Acted as counsel to the time charterer/disponent owner of M/V “Angelic Power”, the Philippine crew serving on the vessel and the crew manning agents in a series of disputes involving contract of carriage of goods by sea and crew employment contracts. The case of application for ship arrest and subsequent ship auction sale was named by Guangzhou Maritime Court as a Top 10 case in the year 2021. The cases of crew employment contract disputes were included by the Supreme People’s Court of China as 2021 Typical National Maritime Cases;
Entrusted by a leading new energy automobile company to provide full-process legal services for its Thailand plant construction project;
Conducted legal research and issued a legal opinion regarding Chinese Mainland pilotage system and related laws and regulations in order to promote the mutual recognition of pilot qualifications in Mirs Bay and one-stop pilotage system;
Provided legal advice as China law expert to a foreign company regarding an international trade dispute and attended hearings as witness for cross-examination at Singapore High Court;
