1. Represented Shenzhen Vanke Development Co., Ltd. in a contract dispute against Shenzhen Jinhui Enterprise (Group) Co., Ltd. and Mr. Qiu. Handled proceedings before the Shenzhen Intermediate People's Court and the Guangdong High People's Court, securing full victories at both first and second instances. The case involved over RMB 10 billion in assets, centering on the application of Article 18 of the Bankruptcy Law and the scope of bankruptcy avoidance rights. It won the First Prize for National Outstanding Court Cases 2023 issued by the Supreme People's Court and was selected as a CBLJ Outstanding Transaction 2022.
2. Represented a financial holding company in arbitration performance commitment compensation disputes against a trust company before a domestic arbitration institution. The case concerned the overall asset disposal of two major domestic private capital groups and the identification of performance commitment compensation triggering conditions, with disputed amount exceeding RMB 6 billion. It is a landmark capital market case on performance commitment compensation and achieved a complete victory for the client.
3. Represented a southern municipal government in multiple disputes arising from cooperative development projects with a coal group. Handled arbitration, intermediate court and high court proceedings spanning more than 13 years, recognized as a typical complex cross-procedural dispute case.
4. Represented a Shenzhen group enterprise in a loan dispute against a Shenzhen real estate developer (Case No.: (2021) Supreme Court Civil Final 3). Took charge of proceedings at the Guangdong High Court and the Supreme People’s Court involving a landmark Shekou real estate project valued over RMB 10 billion. After losing the first instance, secured a favorable second instance judgment from the Supreme Court remanding the case for retrial; later obtained a full victory in the retrial at the Guangdong High Court rejecting all counterparty claims, which was affirmed by the Supreme Court in the second retrial.
5. Represented Shenzhen Fortune Industrial Group Co., Ltd. in a series of real estate development contract disputes against a Shenzhen real estate developer and a Shenzhen conference center hotel company. Handled cases at Luohu District Court, Shenzhen Intermediate Court, Guangdong High Court and Guangdong Provincial People’s Procuratorate, covering extremely complex procedures including first/second instance of third-party revocation lawsuits, retrial and procuratorial supervision of original judgments, consolidated trial of third-party revocation second instance and retrial, remand, enforcement objections and reconsideration, suspension of execution applications and subsequent retrials. Won comprehensive victories in all relevant cases and was listed as a CBLJ Outstanding Transaction 2023.
6. Represented Shenzhen Kangnuofu Information Consulting Co., Ltd. in second instance contract dispute proceedings against Shenzhen Zhaobangji Group Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Liyumen Investment Development Co., Ltd. et al. (Case No.: (2018) Supreme Court Civil Final 751). The case involved the Nanshan Zhaobangji Technology Park project worth over RMB 10 billion; the Supreme People’s Court dismissed the counterparty’s appeal in full. This case was included in the 2020 Issue 2 Gazette of the Supreme People’s Court.
7. Represented the Guangdong Branch of China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation in an export credit insurance contract dispute against Mr. Li and Dongguan Counter Cloud Terminal System Co., Ltd., filing a retrial application with the Guangdong High Court. The case focused on the validity of dispute prerequisite clauses in export credit insurance, a key issue for systemic risk control in the export credit insurance industry, and secured a favorable revised retrial judgment.
8. Represented the Binhai New Area Branch of a national policy bank in enforcement objection reconsideration appeal cases against Yichang Group Co., Ltd., Tianjin Import and Export Trading Co., Ltd., Tianjin International Freight Forwarding Co., Ltd., filing an enforcement supervision application with the Hubei High Court and obtaining full support for all claims. The case clarified the boundary between banks’ judicial assistance obligations and fund custodian responsibilities, being the first such case within the bank group with group-wide guiding significance.

Represented Huishan District People’s Government and Management Committee of Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province in a construction land use right transfer contract dispute against Wuxi Baoming Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. (Case No.: (2017) Supreme Court Civil Retrial 109). Even after the Supreme Court accepted the retrial petition (normally indicating high reversal risk), successfully mediated the case to achieve favorable settlement for the clients.
10. Represented Guangdong Zhenxi Investment Management Co., Ltd. in a construction contract dispute against Lianjiang First Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., Xu Zhirong and Guangzhou Xinqiao Investment Consulting Co., Ltd. (Case No.: (2017) Supreme Court Civil Retrial 318). Participated in procuratorial supervision and Supreme Court retrial procedures after the Supreme People’s Procuratorate filed a protest against the Guangdong High Court final judgment, successfully upholding the original effective ruling.
11. Represented Ping An Bank Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Branch in a contract dispute against Chongqing Jinyufeng Real Estate Co., Ltd., Chongqing Jinyu Real Estate (Group) Co., Ltd. and Ke Jingtao (Case No.: (2016) Supreme Court Civil Final 53). Handled the second instance proceedings, prompting the Supreme Court to remand the case to the Chongqing High Court for retrial and safeguarded client interests exceeding RMB 1 billion.
12. Represented Hunan Fuxing Group Co., Ltd. in a contract dispute against Changsha Caizi Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. and Hunan Native Produce and Animal By-products Import and Export Company Changsha Feather Factory (Case No.: (2016) Supreme Court Civil Retrial 204). Represented the client before the Supreme Court and fully upheld the original retrial judgment even after the Supreme People’s Procuratorate filed a protest.
13. Represented the Liupanshui Branch of Agricultural Bank of China Co., Ltd. in a savings deposit contract dispute against Liu Xiaoming and Liu Xiaoyun (Case No.: (2015) Min Ti Zi No. 181). Though classified as a Guizhou High Court Top Ten Typical Case, filed a retrial application with the Supreme Court and obtained a favorable revised judgment. The case established the bank card fraud fault liability standard at the Supreme Court level with nationwide far-reaching influence in the banking sector.
14. Assisted Hiwin Technologies Corp. (Taiwan-listed enterprise) in second instance defense for an international goods sales contract dispute against Rossen Enterprises Co., Ltd. (Taiwan-listed enterprise) (Case No.: (2015) Min Si Zhong Zi No. 13). The Supreme People’s Court fully upheld the Tianjin High Court’s first instance judgment to the client’s benefit.
15. Represented Beijing International Trust Co., Ltd. in financial loan contract disputes against China Development Bank Corporation, Puyang Pufan Expressway Co., Ltd., Anhui Investment Holding Co., Ltd., Anhui Province Investment Group Holding Co., Ltd. (Case Nos.: (2015) High Civil (Commercial) First Instance No. 3012, (2018) Supreme Court Civil Final No. 1191). Secured favorable judgments at both the Beijing High Court first instance and Supreme Court second instance, recovering over RMB 500 million in losses for the client.
16. Assisted a hardware, electrical and chemical enterprise in second instance defense for a shareholder capital contribution dispute against Tianjin Jinyuanbao Department Store Group Shareholders’ Association and Tianjin Jinyuanbao Department Store Group Co., Ltd. (Case No.: (2015) Min Er Zhong Zi No. 41). The Supreme Court remanded the case for retrial, reaching a satisfactory settlement for the client.
