Mr. Zhang Xin joined Wang Jing & GH Law Firm in January 2024 and possesses more than 20 years of comprehensive legal work experience. Before joining the firm, he worked at the Shenzhen Public Security Bureau and the Shenzhen office of AllBright Law Offices. He joined Tencent’s legal team in April 2008 and stayed for nearly 16 years, holding management roles for 11 consecutive years. He was appointed Director of Tencent Platform Legal Center in 2015 and promoted to Level 13 Legal Expert in 2018. He took charge of building independent legal compliance teams for multiple core business segments of Tencent, including the Technology Engineering Business Group, functional departments, financial business lines, human resources lines, Gaming Business Group, as well as the Platform and Content Business Group. He set up a standardized game copyright review mechanism, delivered full-scope legal compliance review for Tencent’s Hunyuan AIGC project, and provided end-to-end compliance legal support for Tencent’s infrastructure construction projects, product data privacy governance and the Tencent Charity Foundation.
