Abstract: From May 5 to May 8, 2024, the 26th International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA) Congress was held in Hong Kong. Wang Jing & GH’s partner lawyer, Wilson Wang, was invited to attend.
Wang Jing & GH’s partner lawyer, Wilson Wang, was invited to Hong Kong to attend the 2024 International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA) Congress held from May 5 to May 8, 2024.
This Congress attracted over 1,400 professionals from more than 70 jurisdictions, setting a new record in the history of the ICCA Congress.
As a significant event in the field of international commercial arbitration, the ICCA Congress has always attracted much attention. Since the 1960s, the international arbitration community has been committed to forming a global arbitration organization to promote the development and standardization of international commercial arbitration. Nowadays, ICCA has become an international platform encompassing global arbitration experts, lawyers, jurists, and industrial representatives, continuously driving the formulation of international arbitration rules and standards.
The theme of this ICCA Congress is "Human Endeavour," which emphasizes the humanistic characteristics of commercial arbitration. ICCA strongly advocates for diversity and inclusivity and is devoted to enhancing the transparency, efficiency, and impartiality of arbitration institutions and processes to meet the ever-changing commercial needs and expectations of the international community.
