Recently, Wang Weisheng, the partner lawyer of Wang Jing & GH Law Firm, was invited by the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) to serve as an arbitrator-judge for the FDI Moot Shenzhen 2026, providing professional adjudication support for the competition.

As one of the most influential moot competitions in the field of international investment arbitration worldwide, the FDI Moot is dedicated to nurturing young legal talents specialising in international investment law and international arbitration, drawing active participation from numerous top universities and legal practitioners across the globe. Hosted exclusively by the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA), FDI Moot Shenzhen 2026 brought together outstanding teams from universities at home and abroad. By simulating real international investment arbitration proceedings, the contest comprehensively evaluates participants’ legal expertise, oral advocacy skills and global vision.
The preliminary online rounds of this year’s competition took place on 18–19 July 2026. After competing in the online group stage, qualifying teams gathered at the SCIA Tower in Qianhai, Shenzhen, from 25 to 26 July 2026 for offline knockout matches and the grand final.
