The parties concerned concluded an international commodity sales contract. Subsequently the contract could not be performed smoothly due to substantial price fluctuation and thus arbitration proceedings before HKIAC were initiated, the amount in dispute being about USD 12 million. We were instructed to handle the arbitration proceedings at HKIAC, including communicating with English barristers, and also the related settlement negotiations.
