On the morning of 10 September 2020, Wang Jing & GH Law Firm launched its Italian（www.wjngh.cn/it/）and French（www.wjngh.cn/fr/）versions of official website, a move to broaden the channel for communication between Wang Jing & GH and the European market, and showcase the Firm to clients at home and abroad more comprehensively.

At the Firm’s invitation, a total of more than 70 distinguished guests from the consulates, chambers of commerce and trade commissions of countries speaking related languages, including Consul General of Italy in Guangzhou, Deputy Consul General and Acting Consul General of Belgium in Guangzhou, Deputy Consul General of Switzerland in Guangzhou, and Economic Counselor of French Treasury, and representatives from Chinese agencies and entities including Vice Director of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (Guangzhou), Vice President of China Chamber of International Commerce, Director of Public Relation Department of Association of Guangzhou Belt and Road Investment Enterprises, as well as representatives from relevant enterprises attended the ceremony held in the Firm’s meeting room to witness this important moment.

Distinguished Guests, Dear Colleagues, Ladies and Gentlemen,

Good morning. First of all, on behalf of Wang Jing & GH Law Firm, I wish to extend our warm welcome to all participants to this ceremony for the launch of our official website in Italian language and French language.

In early July this year, we witnessed here the launch of our brand new website. Since then, through our website and international media, the firm has transmitted to our clients a mass of latest news and information on China legal services, the Greater Bay Area and our firm. Today, it is an honor for us to announce the official launch of our website in Italian language and French language, for the purpose of building bridge between Wang Jing & GH and clients speaking Italian and French and exploring cooperation opportunities.

In response to China’s Belt and Road Initiative, the firm has concentrated its efforts on expanding and upgrading its international legal services and kept introducing in high-caliber legal professionals with practise licenses in multi-jurisdictions, and actively explored European legal service market.

Through our multilingual communication window and diversified legal service brand, we look forward to providing legal services to European companies and individuals investing or engaging in other economic activities in China, and to providing guidance and legal protection to Chinese companies and products for their overseas development.

Good morning. Thank you so much for having me to this ceremony to launch Wang Jing & GH's official website in the Italian language and French language. As the Director of the Committee of Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and Foreign Affairs, Guangzhou Lawyers Association, at this moment, I wish to extend our sincere congratulations to Wang Jing & GH Law Firm on behalf of the Guangzhou Lawyers Association.

Looking at the firm's multilingual website, we realize that Wang Jing & GH is in a rapid trend of internationalization, headed by Mr. Sam Wong and Mr. Wang Jing. The firm can provide clients with high-quality and professional legal services in multi-language, which also shows the Guangzhou lawyer industry's opening-up and development direction.

In response to the Greater Bay Area's construction and China's Belt and Road Initiative, the Guangzhou Lawyers Association has concentrated on promoting communication and cooperation between Guangzhou lawyers and foreign lawyers. Besides, the Guangzhou Lawyer Association has vigorously cultivated the Guangzhou lawyers equipped with high foreign-language proficiencies and capacity to handle foreign-related disputes, which enable Guangzhou lawyers to offer help and legal service to foreign clients for their "bring in" and to the Chinese clients for their "going out".

On 5th September (Last Saturday), Guangzhou International Commercial Mediation Center was inaugurated. The Mediation Centre will provide dispute resolution featuring integrity, higher efficiency, and lower cost, which will effectively improve Guangzhou's business environment. In the near future, the Guangzhou Lawyers Association will set up the Guangzhou International Legal Service Center, which will further enhance Guangzhou lawyers' international legal service level to provide comprehensive and professional legal services for foreign clients. The establishment and operation of the above two centers will effectively enhance the business environment in Guangzhou.

As the central city of the Greater Bay Area and the Maritime Silk Road's starting point, Guangzhou is an international business capital with open and cooperative spirit and 2000 years of history. We welcomed friends from across the world to visit Guangzhou. We will fill our guestes here with delicacy. Thank you!

Then followed remarks by Mr. Franco Fornari, International Partner of Wang Jing & GH. Firstly, he extended his thanks to the guests for their attendance in this event. He highlighted how China is leading technological advancement, and Wang Jing & GH took inspiration from this to improve and strengthen its IT with the new website. He further commented that the Firm has introduced in legal professionals from different countries and proficient in different languages in order to make us closer to our clients and to stand out from the peers in the Greater Bay Area legal service market which is seeing fierce competition. Finally, Mr. Fornari closed his speech by complimenting the many lawyers that work in the Firm for their commitment and expertise.

After that, Ms. Eloisa Hu, associate, and Ms. Mo Lili, trainee lawyer, from the Firm’s international practice group gave a detailed introduction to the frame and highlights of the two language versions of the website respectively.

In recent years, Wang Jing & GH made a strategic deployment in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in response to China’s Belt and Road Initiative, and actively expanded business in European legal service market in order to explore earnestly diversified development paths. Thanks to the Firm’s fast growth and outstanding talent and quality services, it has received more and more attention and recognition of famous international legal service rating institutions including Chambers & Partners, Legal 500, and Asian Legal Business.

Along with the continued expansion of its international practice, Wang Jing & GH has carried out all-dimensional and in-depth reforms ranging from development strategy, legal service standard, market and brand planning to team building, etc. Now an international service group has been formed comprising legal professionals with profound knowledge of laws and practice in China, USA, UK, Italy, France, Germany, Spain and South American countries, which provides high quality and comprehensive legal services to clients with the best resources and outstanding professionalism.
