On the morning of 10 September 2020, Wang Jing & GH Law Firm launched its Italian(www.wjngh.cn/it/)and French(www.wjngh.cn/fr/)versions of official website, a move to broaden the channel for communication between Wang Jing & GH and the European market, and showcase the Firm to clients at home and abroad more comprehensively.

At the Firm’s invitation, a total of more than 70 distinguished guests from the consulates, chambers of commerce and trade commissions of countries speaking related languages, including Consul General of Italy in Guangzhou, Deputy Consul General and Acting Consul General of Belgium in Guangzhou, Deputy Consul General of Switzerland in Guangzhou, and Economic Counselor of French Treasury, and representatives from Chinese agencies and entities including Vice Director of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (Guangzhou), Vice President of China Chamber of International Commerce, Director of Public Relation Department of Association of Guangzhou Belt and Road Investment Enterprises, as well as representatives from relevant enterprises attended the ceremony held in the Firm’s meeting room to witness this important moment.
Mr. Wang Jing, Chairman of Board of Directors and Managing Partner of Wang Jing & GH gave an opening remark.
Mr. Li Gang, Director of the Committee of Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Foreign Affairs at Guangzhou Lawyers Association was invited to give a speech.
Then followed remarks by Mr. Franco Fornari, International Partner of Wang Jing & GH. Firstly, he extended his thanks to the guests for their attendance in this event. He highlighted how China is leading technological advancement, and Wang Jing & GH took inspiration from this to improve and strengthen its IT with the new website. He further commented that the Firm has introduced in legal professionals from different countries and proficient in different languages in order to make us closer to our clients and to stand out from the peers in the Greater Bay Area legal service market which is seeing fierce competition. Finally, Mr. Fornari closed his speech by complimenting the many lawyers that work in the Firm for their commitment and expertise.
After that, Ms. Eloisa Hu, associate, and Ms. Mo Lili, trainee lawyer, from the Firm’s international practice group gave a detailed introduction to the frame and highlights of the two language versions of the website respectively.
