On Sep. 5th, 2020, Lawyer Hu Liangjian from Foreign-related Service was invited to a webinar “Doing Business in China”, organized by Legal Challenges Group (boutique law firm and journal of law & economics) from Kuwait, to address on the favorable measures provided by Chinese foreign investment legal framework and the local preferential policies. This webinar was also covered by AL-Anbaa, the most influential newspaper in Kuwait.
Other co-speakers of the webinars were professor in law from university, lawyers from China, Italy, Kuwait and other middle-east countries. Each of them share their point of view of the foreign investment legal system in China and the opportunities for SMEs in the Middle East.
The webinar was attended by entrepreneurs, representatives from SMEs in Kuwait. In the Q&A session, Lawyer Hu also responded to the questions regarding investment in education under the current foreign investment legal framework in China.
This is the second time Lawyer Hu participated in the events organized by Legal Challenges Group (Kuwait). In March this year, Lawyer Hu also published an article Using Force Majeure shield under coronavirus outbreak – perspective under Chinese legal system run by the same group.
